Dec Meeting

Was awesome. Topics discussed included:

• Implications of Google's DNS
• Homopolar motors
• Neodymium magnets and their relationship with the hard drive industry
• Attempted and successfull unbricking of a linksys wrt wifi router.

October meeting

October's meeting went well. 7 members total, up from 5 last month and the 3 the previous. Going strong.

Discussed power inverters, boot CDs, WiFi, 3rd party firmware for WiFi routers and others.

August Meeting

We met once again at the fabolous Prince Kuhio food court for fine dining and discussion.

I put flyers in Summer issue of 2600. Hopefully September's meeting will draw a few new people. If you came here because of that flyer you're invited to join us next month. Please post here with any questions you have.

We'll be easy to spot as we're likely the only ones to bring laptops to the mall on a Friday night.

July Meeting

July's meeting saw tight discussion about netbooks, usb drives, Windows 7, WiFi secruity.

June Meeting

Discussed Google's Wave, Bing, and Storage Prices.

March meeting

We had a successful Febraury meeting with one new person joining. Talked about installing Ubuntu on an older Dell Inspiron.

March's meeting also a success. Talked about full disk encryption, hollowing books, hax5.com, stackoverflow.com, 2600 hard cover, netbooks, kismet, WEP cracking and finding a job.

January meeting

I am contiuing to meet in the food court in Prince Kuhio plaza near the arcade. 

Also we're listed in the 2600 meeting list. Hopefully that'll help bring in a few more people to February's meeting.
